SIXTH ANNUAL CLEVELAND GIVECAMP TO TAKE PLACE JULY 17-19, NONPROFITS ANNOUNCED
CLEVELAND, OH (July 2015) – Cleveland GiveCamp will be helping 19 nonprofit organizations further their mission by offering free technology help during the Sixth Annual Cleveland GiveCamp July 17-19. More than 250 volunteers will be helping these organizations develop new websites, web-based applications, online games, databases and other software solutions during the course of a weekend. The event will take place at Burke Lakefront Airport and at Lean Dog Software/AKA, 1151 North Marginal Road, Cleveland, OH 44114, starting at 5 p.m. Friday, July 17.

Cleveland GiveCamp is an all-volunteer effort spearheaded by members of the tech and creative community in Northeast Ohio. GiveCamp brings together local technology talent to help local nonprofits in need. During the weekend, technology professionals, developers, designers, database administrators, marketing professionals and others donate their time to help area nonprofit organizations with a wide range of projects including developing websites, iPhone apps and more. Last year’s event boasted 175 volunteers and $500,000 of free development work for 18 nonprofits. Since 2010, Cleveland GiveCamp has helped nearly 150 nonprofits and provided more than $1.72 million in free services to nonprofits, making the Cleveland event one of the largest GiveCamp events in the United States.
